What conflict and predation have cost humanity. This is the ledger's destruction side — every mechanism by which accumulated human value, built over millennia, is wiped out or bled away. Two families: destruction by Conflict, which annihilates value outright, and destruction by Predation, which mostly transfers it — so for predation the ledger separates what was taken from what was truly destroyed. Every entry carries a magnitude, an honest epistemic tag — Established, Contested, or Not established — and a thread back to the engine of enmity that drives it.
